Technique

Fri Nov 23, 2007, 11:23 PM
Almost all of my work is done from the window of a moving car, my Minolta Maxxum 9000 stuck out the window as I drive. I use Ilford HP5 almost exclusively, and I do all my own developing and printing. I set the camera for a depth of field from 30 feet to 50 feet, with an ISO of 320, and a shutter speed of 1/250.

I've traveled from Key West, Florida to Big Sur, California, to Eugene, Oregon to Portland, Maine.

I've lived in Pittsburgh, Pa., Atlanta Ga., Athens, Ga., and Austin, Texas. I've also lived in a Ford van as I followed The Grateful Dead out West.

I can also draw, paint, sculpt, blow glass, airbrush, work wood, and etch glass. Next I'll be building furniture, and I wanna learn how to weld.

I'll never hold a "straight" job again, and if I do, someone shoot me twice behind the left ear and dump my dumb ass in a ditch.

You are welcome. It's a fantastic image, very lonely, very beautiful. Nice gallery, too.
